Resource style not found

I have OS 3.1.0 loaded on PA4x and SONGBOOK is loaded with OSIMO Next (800 songs) + my own 200 songs (assorted STY and MIDI files) . I have had recent error messages when I can access PA4x songbook when I select both the OSIMO Next or my own 200 songs, I receive an error message.
Error message:
Song Selection: Resource Style not found
Song Selection: Song not available.
All of these songs played fine via songbook in the last week.
I wondered whether I should reload OS 3.1.0, but before I do I am looking for some thoughts and guidance.
Regards, Ross

I've had the same happen to me when I use the Search Button then select the one result you want.
I have then gone to Songbook full list and selected it from there when it normally loads.

I have a USB stick with two folders (songbooks). Lets call them A & B. I choose A (shift/media/A) and A merges with songbook as you know. I choose some songs and "Resources Not Found" appears.
So I choose B (shift/media/B) and it merges with songbook. Bingo, the songs show and play.
This is the same on my 4x, 1000 and 700.
Lets say I had Osimo on the USB, call it C, I would have to choose it as above to merge with songbook on Disc.
Just something of interest really and you will know this. It puzzled me for ages. Probably nothing to do with your issue. But when you sort it I would love to know.
Good luck

I think you can get this error if you have renamed a style, or moved the location of a style, without updating the songbook entry that uses it.
I will play around today and see if that is the case.
Did you recently ‘tidy up’ your styles folders eg User styles?

If you are using DIRECT set then be aware that if you change the USB you MUST de-assign and re-assign the DIRECT set even if it has exactly the same name. The PA4x thinks it is new (different) because of the changed USB drive.

Did some testing: if you only rename a style, selecting a songbook entry that uses that style is OK (presumably Songbook uses the style position not the name, proved by copying another style over the original style).
So Karmanthanever explanation is more likely (not surprising, there is not much that Pete doesn’t know)
