Copying effects to Sequence track. Problem

Good day.
The older I get, the more I think that technology does WHAT it wants to, WHEN it wants to.
We have NO control.

I am trying to copy effects from program to track 3 in my sequence. See the video for better description.

Whenever I do this, TRACK 1 changes from drum to keyboard.

Please... What am I doing wrong???

Try copying the EFX from the EFX windows in the Menu instead of the way you are doing it. What I saw in your video is that on the screen where you were loading EFX, you weren't selecting Track 3 as the destination.

I would stay on Track 3, hit the Menu button, go into IFX (and maybe) MFX, and copy the effects that way. You should be able to select it from there and it should affect Track 3 only in that case.

What it appears that you were doing in the video was copying everything from program instead of just the EFX that you wanted. Isolating it by going into the EFX section should take care of that for you.

Harry, I'll be honest.
I could not discover how to do what you told me to do.
From sequencer if I hit a menu button I do not see any option to copy just IFX or MFX. I have to go into Copy From Program first, yes?

Anyhoo..... I discovered my mistake, thanks in part to your comment about my not being in track 3.
In the Copy from Program menu option, one can select IFX, MFX, ARP, drum track....
But down near the bottom is the destination track selector, which I never saw.

Well, now I saw it!
Thank you!
