EK50 EFFECTS

Hi all, would it be possible to select which instrument the effects are applied to? I have tried to perform this function, but the chosen effect appears to be on all of the instrument layers, when, as an example, the same delay or reverb applied to the upper layers of the keyboard, may not suit the drum sound of the chosen drum kit. Surely this would be possible to do, as different effects suit only some instruments, not all across the keyboard. On a different note, I parted ways with the Yamaha PSRE463 yesterday, as since purchasing the EK50, the yammie was virtually untouched. The EK50 is so much better in most ways, there was no comparison IMO. Any help on the effects issue would be great. Cheers.

Hi,
EK-50 manual:

Page 13
Selecting effects: Setting the effect send level
You can send 2 FX to Layers (Lower/Up1,2,3) only.
For Drum, Percussion, Bass, other parts you can change instruments and volume only (with SetList you can change Accomp. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 volume too), no FX.

Thank you for that, yes, I have the manual printed out. The effects are limited in that you may want to have some compression on the bass, or drums, but not on all the upper sounds as some reverbs etc would be more useful.
