Hi guys,
Does anybody have the same problem with audio pops and clips using windows 10?
it works great on windows7,but if upgrade to windows10H2 (19042.746),
then audio problems happen randomly.
BSOD happens too, pointing to possibly hardware failure from time to time, but my guess is that my Behringer driver ,along withmy TP-link ethernet driver causes the problems.
Any suggestions?
I have tried varius fixes with no luck so far....
greetings

Hi Sharp,
Yeah, i am usingV6.13, i even did a clean install of windows7,installed the drivers, tested for a week or more, then upgraded to original latest windows10,then problems started .
I also tried various compatible modes,no luck...
Clean install of windows10 gives the same or even more problems.
Older windows 10 versions worked well.
At least most of BSOD problems dissapeared somehow
(exept just now, when one more bsod happened while typing this message)

So strange.
Are you running through a long USB cable?
I found for my setup a 2 Meter cable gave me issues, so I verified this by using a very short cable and my issues went away.
In order to get back to being able to use a long cable, I purchased an active USB cable. Seems to have solved my issues so far.
Kind regards
Sharp.

I am afraid this can't explain why the same cable works on win7but not on win10H2.
Anyway,i gave it a try,i changed it,same problems.
Tried using firewire instead of usb, same problems.
Unistalling and reinstalling drivers once again very carefully,no change.
Using 96khz,causes problems, especially while using Studio One,44.1 works better for some reason.
Don't know what else to think.
Rolling back to win7 will work everything ok (tested too),
so it's not a hardware failure like windows10 says when it's kernel crashes on bsod.
Upgrade tool from win7 to win10H2 shows that all hardware is compatible, and it actually upgrades smoothly.
Any other ideas Sharp? i can't think anything else that could actually help...

After many windows tweaks, i managed to solve the problem.
It's first day now with no audio dropouts or BSOD.
Opened 4songs on Studio one plus 40firefox pages, all at the same time, working just fine.
Bad thing, still don'tknow what did the trick, but latest tweaks that i can remember among others are :
1)Deleted ASIO folder registry entries in: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ASIO
2)SWITCH FLIGHT MODE ON .There is a bug that lets you use wifi,if you press the wireless button after you switch flight mode on .Keep it like this.
3)used ccleaner and DeviceCleanup to clean unsused drivers
4)Disable USB selective suspend
5)High-Performance CUSTOM Power Plan
6)USB Power Management Settings
7) go to sound settings and change for all your inputs and audio outputs, under "device properties---->additional device properties--->advanced-----" and detick the ''allow application to take exclusive control'' etc
8)run sfc /scannow or dism commands to check for corrupted files ,and or repair windows files.
