PA4x style editing in presonus Studio One 4

Hello,
I wanted to refine my pa4x styles in Studio One 4 and bring them back to the Pa4x. Would like to map the midi tracks there.
For those who've done that, is that the best way or should I export my style in .mid edit in Studio one and get the .mid file back to Pa4x?

Your views much appreciated.
