Upload Avatar to Profile

Maybe someone here can help - I have searched this topic but came up empty.

I've tried editing my profile several times, and have tried to upload an image unsuccessfully.

I'm getting an error message: "The Avatar Filetype must be a jpg, gif, or png"

I have tried both .jpg, and .gif files
I have shrunken the pictures to the smallest of settings - now only 3KB
I have made sure the dimensions are less than 65X65 pixels (currently 65X48)
I have even tried storing the image on a website and copying the URL

None of this seems to work.

Any ideas, or perhaps this functionality has been turned off of on the forum?

Sorry for bumping this thread up. I was just hoping someone would have an answer about their Avatars

Disregard POST

I finally found a posting on the topic, and was able to correct my issue by deleting the (s) in (HTTPS://yoururlfilename.....)
