I'm wondering how preset 150 works to get different drum sounds, I see it has motion tracks in the sequence to change drum types, but I'm not sure how to see which things are changing. Is there a way to see which parameters the motion data is changing or do I just need to guess?

Go into Seq Edit and take the option to Clear Motion Data. No need to actually clear it but you do see from there what each motion lane is doing.
