Audio Tracks in Songs misplaced

Post by Jevans22 »

Hi, I have used the sequencer to create songs with a guitar track recorded through the audio inputs as audio track 1 on each song.

I saved all the data to disk as per the instructions but when I reloaded the songs, I discovered that the guitar track from one song had been put into another one.

I had hoped there would be a way of copying an audio track from one song into another but the menu only seems to offer the option of copying the whole song.

Any ideas how I can get the audio tracks back with the correct midi tracks in the right songs?

You can use the "measure copy function" in edit mode. So (it is an exemple) you can copy the whole measures of tack 3 from song 001 to track 8 of the song 004.
Be careful that the wav files of your audio tracks must be in the good folder.
It is better to create for each of your song a proper folder where you place your audio wav files.
Also in the event edit audio mode : you can adjust very precisely your tracks to the exact time point you want

Thanks Kronosphere, I'll give that a try.

So I should save each song, with its wav file audio tracks into a separate folder for each song?
