Korg ARP2600

Post by Fes357 »

Jean Michel Jarre ( in his Facebook live chat) has just confirmed that a new Korg ARP 2600 clone is coming next year. He said it will be a real size one, not a mini. Hope they show it at NAMM 202.

So now we know what Behringer will release next

Not that it's a surprise given the leaked images from months ago.

Regards
Sharp.

I can see the Korg 2600 selling for around £2500 for a full sized version and £699 for the Behringer 19" rack.

I very much doubt if Behringer will ever produce a full blown two-part system due to the sheer costs involved.

WooooooooW, even with 2020 vision, I never saw this coming, 2020 looks to be an AWESOME year already.

Synth Wars - The Rise of the Arp2600.

Wow Wow Wow, first the Moog One - A Synth War Story, and now its partner in SINE, the APR2600.

Its Truely Festivous for the Rest of Us.

And the fact that Korg got together with the ones who did the original black and grey circuit / filter design is INCREDIBLE.

R2D2, tell Dr. Frankenstein ... ITS ALIVE.

Thank you, Thank you, and THANK YOU, KORG!!!
Synth Wars - The Rise of the ARP 2600, OBX8 Kenobi - The Return of the Synth, MoogClaraVox, Criklon V2, in living color, Moog Model D, Neuman U67, 1961 Hammond C3 Brother of B , PS3300, to Poly Infinity and Beyond !!!

It has a nice and creamy sound. :)

But a lot of money for a mono synth I think.

Wow, £3499... I Didn’t expect it to be that much. My Bank Manager will be relieved I don’t feel the need to get one!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, now i see, it looked like it had brown sides on the original sneak preview, but it was camera angles casting a tint, darn i was digging the brown sides hahahahaha

I also like the original sneak that AFR posted cause Luke REALLLLLLY hit a home run on that one when he showed off the reverb.

Well, with a 4,600 $ announced price, we can only expect this ARP2600 do not have any issue !!!
