SD cards and the M50

Hi, If I partition an SD card into numerous 2 GB partitions, will the m50 be able to recognize and use that SD card? Thank you for any info
The M50 Owner's Manual states that the M50 doesn't support SDHC cards, only the SD type, so 2GB is the max. Korg also recommend that the card is formatted on the M50.
