Advise on seat

I recently decided to switch from mostly standing during a show to mostly sitting. I currently use a bench type seat, but I was thinking of switching to a drum throne type with a backrest and wheels. Has anyone tried this type of setup and what are your thoughts. I play a Kronos 73 key as my only board.
Thanks
Mark

Yes, I purchased a very nice DW product, then I sold it to my drummer and returned to standing. I just didn’t feel right setting.
If you want wheels, I’d think about buying an office (desk) type chair.

I've thought about this a lot
I've tried just about everything! I don't gig, but long hours at the keyboard are still a problem for my ergonomics. The trouble with desk chairs, apart from the arms, are that they need to be able to tilt the base forwards rather than sitting in the lay back automotive position, then half the time you tend to sit forward on the front edge to get your range. I tend to be a two handed piano player, and need to slide from one end to the other. When using a chair of any sort I find I have to swivel the chair to get the reach. In the end, there's a reason why rectangular piano benches are designed they way they are.
I do like the back rest when I need some rest for my back, and I've thought about modifying a piano bench with just that, as I haven't really seen anything on the market.
So currently I just swap and change between these different benches and chairs depending on how I feel and what I'm doing, but I have considered a drummer throne with a backrest too, so I also would be interested in how people find them for piano playing. I definitely would NOT think having wheels is a good idea though! Unless you're on carpet.

At home and for some shows I use this kind of chair. It's inherently unstable so you keep moving. Very happy with it!

This is the one I use.
It's the type that hairdressers use when they dress your hair.
Nice wheels, and height can be adjustet.
Works perfectly for me.
Best regards
