FullSet OASYS programs
OASYS preload, including EXi Expansion sounds. When Kronos and Kronos X came out, they used almost all of these programs/combis.
Nice thing about the OASYS programs is that they are grouped by synth engine type:
User Bank B contains EXi Expansion programs. User Combi B combis are derived from programs in that B bank.
User Bank A - EXs 2 Piano programs
User Bank C - MOD-7 programs
User Bank D - LAC (MS-20/PolySix) programs
User Bank E - STR-1 programs
User Bank F - Organ (first half) and AL-1 (second half) programs
User Bank G - EXs 3 Brass/Woodwinds programs. Asscociated combis in combi User Bank G.
Furthermore, all OASYS factory combis are derived from Factory banks A, B, & C. Very organized, compared to Kronos.
Important. Before loading, you should SAVE a PCG bank of your Kronos programs and Global settings. Something like "Sounds2018."

Is there a Producer version of the PCG Data? I find it hard to look through programs without loading the whole PCG into my Kronos.
Sorry, I just found that there are some great programs from the OASYS not available on the Kronos. I think for the most part they are better quality and more refined.

Well, when the M3 originally came out in 2007, all the program banks were organized the standard Korg way, with all the pianos #00, 16, 32, 48, etc, EPs #01, 17, 33, 49... Drums 02, 18, etc., much like the OASYS was organized (because that's how they did everything since the Korg Trinity came out). Later they came out with a "Producer" version of the PCG data, with all the pianos numbered 0-32, Bass 33-whatever, all instrument groups were grouped together. When the EX patch dropped (2.0) this just became standard and the Kronos and most other Korg workstations are also organized in this manner. I was just wondering if a Producer version of the OASYS PCG data was ever distributed. I'm gathering it's not a thing... just figured it would be easier sifting through programs instead of loading the whole PCG onto my unit.
Examples (again, just look at the Program banks, not Combination banks)
Korg M3 V1.0 (2007)
Korg M3 "Producer"

I understand what you mean now. Yes that seems a much better way of organising the instrument groups.
Have you got a Kronos that you are trying to load the OASYS PCG on as well ?

I am also looking for the PRODUCER.PCG file for the OASYS.
Anyone know if it is available somewhere?
