Hi to all those that remember me from quite a while back... I am still playing... have certainly got back into recording and have treated myself to a few new bits of gear over the last couple of years.
Still been using the Triton extreme 88 mainly as a controller but sometimes for sounds and also if I ever gig again it may well be needed.
Sudden loss of sound. Noticeable noise/digital clicks when switching between patches pressing buttons - especially via the headphone output. Same present I think via the LR jacks but quieter
Like the original OP (OK this was a while ago and they only posted one post - so unlikely to be back) I have had it come back to life tonight but then go again.
I was messing with the Valve force to see if I could see a faint orange glow... (it will just start to do this if driven fully) as I have wondered if that was the issue with the signal path. Have not been able to recreate it coming back.
Anyhow, Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated and any ideas about good repairers ideally Korg authorized/approved in the midlands area.
Thanks in advance,
Steve

Re: HELP humming/buzzing when cable plugged in

I have a Triton Extreme 88 that I purchased new in 2007. It has always worked perfectly with no problems....
The volume of the humming increases/decreases with the volume knob. In other words, you won't hear it if I turn the volume all the way down on the keyboard. ....
My perfectly good keyboard is no longer playable suddenly and I am super bummed! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
