MIDI connection issue

Hey guys, I'm using my Korg PA3X (as sound source only) connected via midi to my Korg Kronos which is master SEQUNCER keyboard.
The problem is I can't control the sounds neither from PA or Kronos. It keeps changing to GM sounds every time I locate (go to start ) the SEQ in Kronos?
I tried all kind of General midi controllers in PA ( Global ) none of them worked for me. Please Help.
