I am referring to those Journey, Beatles, Billy Joel etc sounds that you can find in Kronos.
Thank you!

Not to my knowledge. The best Kronos versions of these are the Purgatory versions: http://www.purgatorycreek.com/styled/st ... page3.html
I saw a video comparing the versions from Korg and the Purgatory sounds, and came to that conclusion pretty quickly.

Dan Stesco has got a few of them in the latest pack he's developed. Also, kromeheaven.com sometimes has good sounds. Some are not so good, but you can usually hear what you're getting before you download them.

I've been in your situation, and I have to say that getting really close with most sounds is pretty easy on the Krome. I have not messed much with the arpeggiators, but just getting good sounds is possible if you just start trying to program your own.

Thank you CherryPistolKeys! Kromeheaven indeed has good sounds.

I don’t have a Krome (I have an M3), and I am searching for the best alternative within the new Korg generation of workstations.

Those "famous" sounds of Kronos are the key selling point of that board. Though its expensive. If Krome does not have them, then I don’t think I would go for Krome.

Bet regards!
