Rough edges on white keys.

I don't know whether anyone else experiences this or it could just be my playing style needs cleaning up but I find the slightly rough (or sharp) underside edges of the white keys at the front corners very annoying as my fingers catch on them occaisionally whilst playing. The underside edge at the front of the key where there is a slight overhang is quite sharp at the corners as if the plastic moulding has not been cleaned up properly. Haven't noticed this on other keyboards before.
I'm going to clean them up with a bit of fine Wet & Dry to make them smooth unless anyone has any other suggestions or tips.
Anyone else experienced this?

I did look to find previous posts but gave up after 15mins trolling, it won't take me that long to smooth the edges with the old W+D.

That seems a crazy thing to have to do to a $5000 keyboard
All the best - let us know how it goes...

I am pretty sure that a few users mentioned the sharp edge key issue on the Pa4x on this forum in the last six months?
I would say that there is an abrasive edge to the keys at the lower sides when compared with any other keyboard from one of the three main manufacturers and at the price bracket the Pa4x sits in one would not expect to find any issues in that area at all. I also find the key tension slightly taught and Korg could have used a better quality keybed for its flagship product, Am I getting used to it ? Yes you have to make allowances for it.

I'm glad to hear I'm not alone in this, was beginning to think I was being fussy.

I've noticed this as you on my Pa4x 61 keys but I just ignored it and got used to keep working with it.
But agree with Pete statement (

I have tested 3 different Pa4x in different shops and all suffer this sharp edge problem. They need to sort this out. I'm not keen to pay £3,000+ and then have to file the keys down to get a smooth edge. This is clearly a fault and I'm surprised that Korg have let this slip through their quality control especially in view of the price. I haven't experienced this with any other keyboard I've ever owned or recently tried in shopping for a new one.

I agree and find it very distracting, making allowances for it should not be necessary although I don't find the key tension a problem. Smoothing the edges myself does not daunt me at all and I'm sure that professional players customize their instruments all the time, it just shouldn't be necessary.

I never mentioned it but I found the same thing when I got my Pa4x. It was tearing up my fingers. I just took some sand paper and rounded the sharp edges. Usually I only experience this on cheap keyboards. Korg used to make their own keybeds and they were definitely better.

Yes sharp edges on my keyboard white keys too.....
BTW my keyboard is at Korg Italy for over a month now to check it out because the authorised service in Greece could not find out any of the problems I mentioned.
I expecting them to sent me a new one if Korg is a serious company.
