New Problem With Logic Pro X

Post by Dokter123 »

:(

Up until 2 weeks ago my Kronos worked perfectly with Logic Pro 10.2. I don't know if my problem started with the upgrade to 10.3 or not...unfortunately. However, I now have the following problem: Logic still recognizes the Kronos as a legit IN/OUT Audio option and I can record audio just fine. Logic refuses to allow my Kronos to control the software instruments though, or to act as a midi controller in any way. The Mac Audio Midi utility still sees the Kronos as a midi controller with the requisite IN's and OUT's.

Now to really confuse things this is only a problem on 1 machine running Logic 10.3. Two other machines running Logic 10.3 still see the Kronos as a perfectly working audio and midi capable keyboard.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Have you tried resetting the PRAM on the offending Mac, or reinstalling the Kronos drivers? I'd also check MIDI instrument in the Environment settings within Logic.

Lol...thank you for the suggestions...but can you explain that in a bit more detail? PRAM? I think I can find the MIDI Environment OK...

NM - I found out how to reset PRAM, but looking in the Midi Environment was problematic - the Kronos was overwriting what lay beneath it and all I can see is jumbled text. Am I looking for the evidence of cabling?

Thank you.
