Korg Micro X overheating power input

Hi everyone,
I recently sold a Korg Micro X on ebay and despite the buyer stating that the synth is working absolutely fine, he's now trying to claim a refund because the power input is - in his words - overheating.
I've found a few threads on here where it's been mentioned that both the Micro X and the X50 do run hot, but that it's generally within spec and normal.
Basically I'm trying to find anything that Korg has said about this issue so that I can use this to perhaps put his mind at ease, as I haven't found anything about boards being fried or anything like that. Does anyone have any pointers?
Thanks in advance for any help that you can give.
