Is it even possible to solo/mute patches in combi mode when they're routed to different midi channels ?
If I assign a patch to lets say ch 02 to trigger a sound from my module, even when I mute the sound the m50 is still sending midi on that channel.

Is it even possible to do it ?

do you mean that you are getting MIDI output from all channels in Combi mode?
Could you please tell me how to do that? I had always just received messages from keyboard, not from combi.

If I understand your question, clicking on Mute on channel on M50 does not stop it from sending MIDI data?
