Are you loading USER samples too? That should add some extra time.

.....I've got a 16g USB stick with loads of Midis and MP3's as well as backups ...but it see's that only after boot up from the keyboard at about 1.50 then loads that in a few seconds....Also on the keyboard I've got a couple of dozen custom sounds...

Just worried if the battery is needing changing....?

I thought the battery in the PA900 was just for Time and Date keeping?

Page 21 of the users manual says ...

"Note: When the instrument exits standby, User PCM Samples used by some User Sounds may be automatically loaded. Loading them may take some time."

Mine takes ~30 seconds to load (OS 1.20). It was a lot slower on factory version (1.10?)

I have a few user samples in memory. (10-20mb total)
