Korg has probably stepped away from using 3rd party tools in their instruments.. like Karma in the workstations… and the harmonizer and master eq in pa4x.
Its just to expensive in todays financially run buiseneses.

Behringer bought out the entire company TC-Helicon, so maybe Behringer don't want that technology in any other product than their own.

Sharp.

I think it will keep on having MAXX audio but not sure about TC..
Now that i saw from @Sharp that behringer bought tc i believe that the vocal efx will be either other company or korg designed its own..

PA5X looks like a PA4X with a PA5X sticker on it, which is exactly how I felt when the PA4X came out in regards to the PA3X.

Well the overall shape is the same so from that point of view yes..
Apart from that , maybe it is the first time that it is so much different..
-16pads,
-bigger and not that round screen
-2nd screen under the sliders
-extra buttons
etc
The 2 that felt almost the same apart from the color were pa2x and pa3x for me!

Don't let that disillusion you because the PA3x and PA4x ended up as different as chalk & cheese and evolved into an amazing upgrade.

I would not call them rumors anymore.
Its pretty much a fact we know what the pa5x is gonna look like.
But we have no clue what it will bring soundwise and feature wise, except for the new graphical interface and the double arranger feature (2styles)
