If it supposedly has a "better vocalist" then there would at least be a couple of knobs to set the mic gain and mute levels. The "artist" seems to have missed these essentials off the 3d rendered model. Reflections on the glass screen are inconsistent with overall rendered lighting. Several suppliers have Pa4x keyboards on order from Korg and have been told to expect delivery early January. dv247.com list an expected delivery date (to them) of 10th January, local music shops in the UK gave similar dates for supply from Korg.ckobu wrote:I have some channels of my own ...pawlikp100 wrote:

Release in the first half of 2022, Song and Style mode is not separate, can play together (like Yamaha), Pads can be synced with Style, better vocalist, customizable sliders for any function (like Genos
), more RAM memory,, Wlan, bluetooth ...

Those backorders in Januar, could just as well be some Korg Italy factory stock, its unlikely they made another cycle and produced a few hundred of pa4x’s..Rob Sherratt wrote:If it supposedly has a "better vocalist" then there would at least be a couple of knobs to set the mic gain and mute levels. All I'm saying is that if there is a Pa5x, then that 3D rendered image ain't it !!Bachus wrote:Those backorders in Januar, could just as well be some Korg Italy factory stock, its unlikely they made another cycle and produced a few hundred of pa4x’s..Rob Sherratt wrote:If it supposedly has a "better vocalist" then there would at least be a couple of knobs to set the mic gain and mute levels. If the pictures are real........ PA5X.. HERE I COME !
From the perspective of this rumour (so don't shoot me for exploring the idea) but from the older image already seen of the unpainted control panel, then the hole on the left hand side make sense now looking at the 2nd image suggesting a 88 key version, so if this new unconfirmed information turns out to be true?... then a 88 key version I'm sure will please many and long over due in-line with other korg product lines...and of course we will reserve proper judgement when there is some official and real news... but still
intriguing

If it's not too late - a larger screen with precise touch accuracy and response - without being cartoonish. It dumbs down the user interface when 1/4 or 1/2 the screen is devoted to a lovely color photo of the instrument that you have selected (as in Krome, Kronos, and Nautilus). Sure seems like a huge waste of space, when useful information and parameters could be shown instead.

Interesting - I actually wish my Kronos screen was as responsive as my PA4X screen - but they are 2 different technologies (capacitive and resistive).
What I love about the PA4X screen is that it always reacts - the Kronos really needs a stylus or fingernail for reliable response.
I agree - we don't need pretty pictures, just full-on functionality.
@D575
I would be shocked if Korg didn't offer an 88-weighted version - that then sets them well ahead with arrangers even if they don't make any other changes
I hope they don't drop aftertouch on any of the new models (they seem to be doing this....??)
BTW - we would never dream of "shooting you" for exploring

@Karmathanever
I will keep my bulletproof vest on just for now incase there is the odd silver bullet with my name engraved on it lol... as for dropping aftertouch then I sincerely hope they (korg) have not even thought about that on a new flagship arranger line-up as I would have to add this to my list with some of the other crazy things going on in this world at this time (!)
