Just got an e-mail from my dealer here in the UK.
He said they're not expecting the 88's until August!!
Still, not too long to wait now!!!

So does this mean that when we want to buy a Japanese Synth we should
(1) ask for a 15% discount - apparently asking for a discount is allowed
(2) import from the US - we'll have 30% to play with (10% if we pay the VAT)
(3) buy a EU synth like the Origin (more expensive in the US) and not bother with Japanese workstations
(4) Forget it all together - buy a decent controller and loads of software (Omnisphere, Arturia, FM08) - which would cost less...??
I really want a kronos believe me I think it is fantastic - but like many Europeans - I cant get one because they are not universally available (come on 4 sent to Thomann) - and cost more than they should (as with a lot of Japanese synths - except Roland ones bought at DV247).

Sorry for all your woes I got mine last week on the UK. It appears that like some new products they are in short supply - particularly in the UK. My advice - wait, it is a totally fantastic instrument that is ground breaking in so many ways at it price point.

61, I have alot of nice synths and and M3 now for sale, the Kronos is just outstanding, there are some things I'd like to be different, but it clearly is a centre piece of my keyboard arsnal, in terms of sound quality and functionality.

Does USA or Japan get 4 units too?

That is not TRUE. Please stop telling Things like that! Thomann is not Europe! Thomann is just not the prefered channel for the First Batch. Again, ask your local dealer. I ordered Mine in June and i have a confirmed Date for july
