Additional RAM doesn't magically appear unless something that was previously using that RAM no longer needs it. I wonder does this mean KORG are now streaming the factory PCM data.
Tempted to buy a Pa4X. Even to develop and sell sample libraries for it.

Very exciting!
I wonder where they found the space to store the 1.5 gb sample files in eMMC as there wasn't so much space free!!
I can only think of 1 possible solution!!Deleting the backup rom files to make space as these are not being used anyway!
We will learn more of the inside work when the os will get public!!
If you have a look on the Sample Info page*, it shows 1.50 GB max for the Samples Size and 400.00 MB for the Preload Buffer Size.
This means that the real time samples memory you can have active at the same time (all the sounds currently in use) is still limited to 400M.
But the additional samples are ready for the next sound selection.
All these numbers may be doubled if you use only compressed samples.

The man on the video had been loaded a set, that set approximately 280 mb and 10.000 more sounds. question; if it is 10.000 sounds from 280 mb set, if we use 800mb set, what will happen sounds after 17.028? Also, why it shows 400 mb, what s the mean of preload buffer size? Will it be 400 mb or 1.5 gb? if i have a set which its size 1gb, can not i load it to 4x? Why there is 400 mb, why there is 1.5gb? What are their mean?
