Hi All

Styles off the USB...WOW Korg Italy seems to be catching up with the times in this regard and Yamaha is going to feel it with this capability by Korg as it was primarily a deal breaker ... I can see this coming to 3X.

Quick guide manual available and no mention of STS's or Performances... possibly new terms used.

The manual reveals minor upgrades from 3X and I cannot see how these little differences could not have been added to 3X...

Thanx

Do you really think the flute part was played by PA4X? I seriously doubt..

Hi Jimsweb... I had same question as his movements somehow did not seem consistent with the changes in bending etc.

... but we could be wrong or it was prerecorded on the 4X...we will find out though.

thanx

if PA4x is able to emulate the complex flute sound in such a way, then no words - hats off to the performer. It's indeed a breakthrough technology.

On the other hand, if he has used a pre-recorded audio, I jut laugh at the performer who used a prerecorded audio to show-case PA4x capabilities.. too bad!

Hi Jimsweb

I only heard flutes on the piano classics, the next demo that followed and solo instruments guitar and flute which was pretty standard...nothing like the articulation/emulation in the youtube video.

The manual reveals minor upgrades from 3X and I cannot see how these little differences could not have been added to 3X... on the plus is the direct function to read styles off usb, standard offering includes video card and I think its the possibility to manually change accented notes in realtime that would surely add dynamics.

thanx

I've embedded all that into the Index at the top of this section of the forum. There's currently 46 Audio demo's.
