Sampler, there is no reason for that. If one has Omnisphere that also means
he has a good computer. Why make your life harder, just Sample in the
Computer, fix everything in there and then just import to Kronos, instead of
killing your self and eyes on the Kronos's Display and ancient Sampler.
Its way easier to do it on the computer then just import everything ready.
Good tutorial overall.

It took me a little longer than 12 minutes to do it, but I learned a hell of a lot along the journey. Below is a demo of my attempt at putting the Omnisphere Nature Boy patch into my Kronos. Its missing about 15% of the nuance of the original, but its dang close for a first effort. I realized a couple of things I didnt do correctly in preparing the samples. This is really exciting and changes everything for me. I can see myself eventually doing my JD-990 now, or my D-550, or my Matrix 1000. OMG!
Come on guys don't be shy. Jump up and sample something for your Kroni. If I can do it, anyone can!!
Oh, and many thanks to Qui for the tutorial. Talk about shortening the learning curve. First rate!

For a first attempt you did a GREAT JOB!!!
things you could improve is to create more samples per octave because you can hear the sample LFO speed up at higher notes. But this sound is suited for that behaviour.
Thanks for showing the demo, it's good to know that the tutorial was clear enough for you to achieve this result!

When loading a sample onto kronos you have to setup index.
My kronos is a 73 key 6 x 12 keys I think that's right.
So 6 index with the possibility of 12 notes per index.
The problem is when I setup the first index with Zone range set to 12 notes the second index only let me use 11even though the Zone range is set to 12 and as I carry on It gets worse eventually only one note available.
All the necessary programming delete Ms and original key set to center has been done
I set original key to my original note A1 stereo.
All the programing was carried out in Sampling mode
Can anybody shed any light on what I’m doing wrong please?
I do like your video and samples keep the good work going.
I now realise that when idexing you only use one of the stereo channel of A1 sample index 001 and one 002 for A2 and so on.
this way round all the indexes take 12 notes.
Sssh I'm still learning

My dream is an upgarde of omnisphere plugin that can export selected patches in Korono format..untill the SSD and the RAM of the kronos is free ....example, select the patchs in Omnisphere and an indicator display the amount of SSD and RAM needed to load into Kronos.....
dream.....
