I've decided to hold off on my initial promise, let's aim as close to a full Bank as possible and really give you something cool.
congratulations on the communications part, a lot of companies can learn of this :)

I agree with you, finish the bank first :) especially the special techniques (like sidechaining the gate :P ) are very interesting. We can learn a lot of it to see how you guys are doing the programming.

i've been a bit harsh to you in the past and i appologize for that. you are one of the few product managers that keeps their promisses. I really respect that.

well, now you talk nice-nice :D

This is why many of us Korg customers are loyal. we know they will follow through and do a great job.

We are extremely lucky to have a consistent Korg presence on the forum.

Where else would you hear from a very busy employee of a MI manufacturer on a Sunday ? I would bet ' nowhere'

ooooooooohhhhhh a full bank !!
Sounds nice. I like the old adage "do it once do it right"
so take your time and give us a bank of USABLE quality sounds that you are truly proud of.
It will be worth the weight, and thanks for youir time , effort and skills. I certainly am not good at this sort of stuff

Is it just me or not i dunno, but every Korg Sax sounds totally plastic and unconvincing, apart from the Alto Sax patch on the real hardware T3... wish the M3 was capable of exactly reproducing it...

Regarding the new sounds, i was under the impression that they will be freely downloadable...

The M3 is just as much a "hardware" keyboard as the T3, and the saxes.....with effects, can sound great.

ONE WISH >>I would like a XYLOPHONE SOUND or Program. This is a cool overlooked sound and would be a great addition to the M3 Drum track for sure!!

You should hear the difference, the new Sax (and Brass) samples are totally plastic and no matter what fx you put on them they'll still sound plastic and unconvincing.

Again, you (and everyone here) should check out an old T3, do an A/B test with any KORG synth that happened since the X-series.

And by hardware I meant the original T3 and not the Legacy M1 with the T-Series banks which are nice but got no BALLS.

Yep .. I agree with Wuss ...Yep .. I agree with Wuss ...Yep .. I agree with Wuss ...
The brass and woodwind sounds are very inadequate. Hopefully the new update will include a few...and a XYLOPHONE..
What I dont understand is if you hear the PA arrangers they all have fantastic brass and woodwind sounds so why cant they just copy them to the other synths w/o much effort? Also the MicroX is another great sounding synth with lots of great sounds..I guess all the samples are in a different format depending on which keyboard ..memory..software they use.

I've fixed the problem, our database had become corrupted.

On the plus side ... it's all good for your post counts :-)
