Hi Nor251,

below link is an os update for our Extreme that resolves the MOSS issue.....these guys at KORG are doing a great job. Good to know our Extreme is close to being as perfect as it can get with regards to OS.

Hi guys,

Hope you dont mind me using this thread to ask this question..

Why do you transpose? If you're playing in d and you set the arabic scale key to C (so he root key is D)...then if you need to change to play in the scale of A, wouldn't you just change the Arabic scale key to G??

Sorry..im just not clear on the advantages of transposing..and I'd be more than happy to learn of a better way of doing things...

Even if what you suggest above solved the problem how would you change the checksum critical value so as the OS to be able to run without any problems?

Just kidding also lol.

Nor and I have been into that procedure for another reason. We used Hex Editors and Hex Translators to address and change some hex values.

Do you remember Nor?
