I have no reliable audio from mac to Kronos either...

I guess the statement in this Korg commercials around 1.20 where the studio guy blesses the Korg for it´s awesome DAW intergration was not to be taken litterally

:
1) Apple created the AI problem Feb 2017 with the release of Sierra.

After several months, by October ( maybe November) Apple 'fixed ' the USB problem they created.

You can google the forum for the grisly details. But I am 99% sure, there is no longer an interface problem with Kronos and mac sierra.

2) LOL. That YT speaker was impressed he could use a USB cable between his Kronos and his DAW. " no more bunches of cables, dude " was his context, I believe. How 2017 that is.

Still horribly broken for me on Sierra. Severe distortion sets in within 2-3 minutes of using it for USB audio. Have tried through a hub and a direct connection - no difference.

Too scared to upgrade to High Sierra in case something else breaks.

Hi SeedyLee,

I fully sympathize with your reluctance to upgrade. I switched to a FocusRite Clarret 8Pre card a while ago as a result of the Kronos being broken on OSX (and I won't be going back), and I have been terrified of upgrading too. However, due to other circumstances I had to upgrade earlier this week to High Sierra, and having done so, I also tested the Kronos and as far as I can tell, it does now work as it should.

Using a Late 2013 imac.

I can also confirm that the previous audio problems seem to have been sorted with High Sierra and it now works well.

I updated my Macs when the fix came out back...ages ago? for High Sierra. My USB to Kronos audio on High Sierra has been working so well, I'd forgotten about the problem entirely until you brought it up again :D

I had already upgraded to High Sierra before the problem was fixed, so don't know if they even fixed it in Sierra.
Upgrade to High Sierra, I think you'l find it fixes your problem.
