Welcome to the forums. I am not sure to take you seriously.
I just bough 6 from Sweetwater and sent them all back because I didn't like the colour.

Seriosuly...this crap has got to stop. This is a community for us. I don't want to come here every day to see the same people moaning and posting nothing .... NOTHING... but negative crap.
Couldn't agree more. I appreciate all your hard work Sharp, thanks a lot, you are doing a great thing for the community here. I find all feedback and advises I read here extremely helpful. It's too bad there's always a group moaning about the same topics, quite often even without proper arguments.

But don't let it discourage you, this still is by far the best Korg forum online and a great resource for Korg customers/users! Thanks again!

The problem is with todays society, most large companies wont ..and employees are told "Not To Respond" or answer complaints such as these keybed issues(jus sayin')... for fear of being libel..or sued.

This causes people to become impatient with each other, panic and get upset..wondering what is going on...and rightly due, as we just want to know and hear answers.

SAD: Jet Blue airlines just had airplanes stranded in Connecticut for 8 hrs yesterday making passengers wait on the tarmac with no food or water, babies crying etc. Noone was allowed to deplane and the pilot couldnt even get any help or answers from the company! After everyone was finally off 8 hrs later, JetBlue executives sitting in their cozy offices finally answered and made some lame "communication error" excuse over the whole mess.

Thanks for this list.

Btw, I think:
yes, it is a problem Korg should address, because 21 is too much
yes, the problem is exaggerated, 21 out of about 1000 sold Kronosses could be considered as 'exceptions'.

strange conclusion, where can i find the report that 979 kronosses don't have problems?

Not everyone posts things online on this forum. Also not everyone is capable of recognising this problem.

I'm not saying that the cutoff notes problem is a widespread problem, but your conclusion makes absolutely no sense at all.

Well maybe there are a few more people having problems, but most people having problems will look for it on internet and will probably end here. Or even better: at a korg support center to let it fix (or ask for another one).

If people don't recognize the problem, it is not a problem.

I have an online store and understand feedback patterns.
I recall we have gone over this before.

michel is 100% correct. The 1000-2000 owners(based on serial #) that are satisfied with their purchase are not likely to come here and shout about it. It is the ' no news is good news ' syndrome. The 1000-2000 folks are happy making music with their Kronos. That is the entire purpose of their purchase.

The folks that have a defect are likely to find this site, read posts and share their defect observation. Thus we have 15 or 20 folks actively posting about their board observation.

This kind of statistical behavior is also very common in other industries. So there is nothing strange about similar conclusions, here.

I think the large majority of Kronos owners are more sophisticated and discerning, given their experience with Korg and other keyboard brands.
Thus they would be very aware if their Kronos had a defect.

In addition, I have an online store and understand feedback patterns.

Make sure you don't apply that principle to matters concerning your health, car, etc.

I think you're absolutely right.

I think I've posted once, possibly twice about this because it's currently a minor problem for me and overall I'm very, very happy with the Kronos. Also having used a lot of Korg stuff over the years and having good support from them I'm confident that this will get sorted. I may be proved wrong but this still seems like a software issue to me - for reasons that I've already posted.

You have failed to update the list with people who have found ways to fix their problems. For example, PianoManChuck was able to do so with a pedal calibration.

Wonder how many others that would work for?

I disagree,
because, that would mean that all 1000-2000 users would have registered on this site and the people that have problems with their keys would also mention their problems on a non official user forum.

That's not the case. For instance i know three other kronos owners that also have little problems with their kronos, and none of those three is registered on this site. I'm absolutely sure that there are a lot of kronos owners not registered on this site or want to get involved in these kind of discussions. So your statistical figures are not correct and just based on some kind of assumption.

I agree with you that when you run an online shop and know who your customers are, that you can give an accurate count of failure.

But's that's not the case here.
