I bought the full sound pack, it took 24 hours and was almost finished 2 mins to go.. ... then they pulled it

and split the download ( which was how it should have been in the first place) which killed my full pack download lol

ok... start again

current expected download in the uk between 17 - 23 hours just for EXs17 ... 4 hours for Exs 18 hours KRS-07 took seconds
"If it's worth having it's worth waiting for" .. but maybe the demo could be on a different server for people who have already paid ??

Korg should have offered this in a thumb drive version so we could just plug it into the back and load. I'll wait until the demand slows to get my copy.

Even with a download manager the downloads keep stopping, just for information in case anyone else is struggling.. I have tried a number of browsers and download managers.. the one that appears to be getting the best result is firefox. with 'download them all' add on installed. I was almost there with the original 5.2 gig full pack download when they must have pulled it ) now downloading the two demos,... If they had put the downloads on separate servers, ie. one for people who have already paid it would have helped.

For those using a Mac, you might want to try
http://www.igetter.net/iGetter.html
It has a free trial and I was able to download both files in about 4 hours with no problems.

I would normally wait a while before purchasing an upgrade, but since I had no idea how long the $50 discount will last, I went ahead and bought it.
I have never had such a hard time trying to download a purchase, EVER ! Finally got the files but it took many failed attempts and constant downloading from Friday 5am thru Sunday 9pm. A long time for a 5.2gb file ! (checking every few minutes on the dl so I could restart right away when it failed)

It's a shame Korg was so unprepared for this update. You can be sure they didn't have any problem uploading your money. I feel sorry for all you folks that have been struggling to get what you paid for. I still say, shame on Korg. This is a perfect example of how much they care about their customers. Call this a rant or whatever, I really don't care. As I said in the beginning Korg got my money, they won't get anymore. I enjoy my Kronos. I know Korg is a good company, but they sometimes do stupid things. People should be allowed to express their frustrations.

I really think Korg should have a better system for downloads of this size.
One question though. Is this about the same size as say for example, a movie download? I've never downloaded anything this large so I'm a bit out of it.
Also, we should have the option of buying it on another format. A DVD or thumb drive.
I also think the timing was way off. Not everybody has the money so close after Christmas to buy it right now. So I have to wait but will probably get nailed with the increased price if I choose to buy it at all.
