Unless someone knows different...???
Yes sorry pedro these are pre-order prices...due to arrive Jan/Feb/March depending on who's site you look at.
Directly from Korg yesterday after I had a rant at them...

There will some stock arriving in the country early Feb, probably getting to dealers later in the month or early March latest. Availability will also obviously depend on what model you are interested in and the preorder queues that dealers have for them.

Couple of things worth keeping in mind:

The heart of the Kronos is a PC Motherboard - so the newer the one you buy, the longer into the future it will last for you. I'd say that all Keyboard / Chassis issues that plagued early Kronos designs are long since gone in Kronos 2, and there are probably a plethora of other minor improvements.

Plus - it looks far better.

Overall, remember that the OASYS cost $8500 - so all Kronos owners are getting that level of top-end development in a 2-4000 dollar instrument. It's feature set is multiples of any other comparable workstation out there. One way or another, you're getting a bargain.

Well, I've decided to buy a 88 key, but does anyone have a REALISTIC ETA for them to become available in the USA? Every seller I check out seems to be saying something different. They all seem to be locked into offering the same retail price, so I'm looking for someone at least offering bonus goodies in package deals.

Kraft Music seemed to be the closest to being accurate as they were saying Feb back when most others were saying mid-Dec. From what I have read the first Kronoses being shipped to the stores will be for those who have already pre-ordered one. Your guess is as good as mine as to when as only Korg really knows the answer. I hope there is no 10 month delay like I experienced when I bought a Kurzweil PC3K a few years ago when they first came out!

Just looked at it and it says:* When the instrument is shipped
from the factory, the 16 types of
EXs12 SGX‐1 Austrian D Piano do
not sound. The optional EXs12
download is required.

So looks like it's still a download.

Oops I just read about the Austrian Piano not being included. No biggie with all of the new sounds being included with the new Kronos. I just hope it shows up by early March!
