Same reason Apple ships to the U.S. first, when you have limits units initially, you sell them to your home base first.

I always feel this is rolling the dice a little bit...... what if you need to take it back to the shop for any reason? mind you- realistically- what are the chances of that actually happening?

Anyway- good luck- I hope it all works out....... I trust you will let us know. \:D/

Is there not an average sort of time between other Korg releases in Japan and then the rest of the world? If I remember correctly- it was only a matter of a few weeks for the Volcas.

It's coming man, it's coming !!!haha. Probably on a big boat somewhere, then it has to pass customs, then distribute to another warehouse before being divided up to each vendor. Hopefully they will arrive in large numbers though.

Sweet! Looks like the postal service in Japan works on Sundays too!

This means I'll have the package before Friday next week! (I've googled other people's tracking time in google, and it's usually 3-5 days DELIVERED with EMS Japan.) Yaaay!    \:D/ \:D/

Did you order your electribe from Amazon.co.jp? I think I might do that as well.

Nah, they didn't have any left in stock. Also all of the 9 other sellers (incl. KORG themselfs) wouldn't ship internationally.

I bought it from this site: http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/chuy ... tem/92899/

Btw, after you've made the order through the site, they send you a PayPal-link on e-mail a little later. This link has the shipping fee included in the total.

Looking forward to hearing how your international adventure works out.

I'm sure Korg want to beat XMas or they're killing themselves trying.

Any information on the power supply? Are adaptor/converters needed? Japanese plug? 2 sets of wires so you can cut off the Japanese plug to fit whatever country type or isn't that possible therefore needing an adaptor?
DV247 said November 28th Why wait 3 weeks if you can get in 1?

It will be a specific ac/dc psu. If you get a Jap plug you're gonna have to get a converter or a replacement adapter.

Well, November 28th has been listed by various shops, including thomann, but then it was changed to tba. I would not by an import though, since it will become difficult if your electribe needs to be replaced.

Agreed there, i'm happy to wait for a Uk supplier to get them in. It's a practice i've always followed. You get the relevan power supply & a proper valid warranty.
