No he's from Europe (I know the country but I don't know if he wants to make that public so he might answer himself more specifically).

No that's okay I don't need to know (but I knew from the price he quoted he was NOT in Oz!!)...

It is just if he makes assertions that "his only cost $x" he must realise not ALL countries or locations can achieve the same pricing!!

Sorry to ask but I really don't know. Cobblestone roads? Really?

The gator case I have for k73 is in the good range for protection.
Better would be an SKB. Not the roto molded. The true flight case.
The ones you see golf clubs, Bikes and shotguns travel in.
Best is anvil/Colorado/SpaceCase/etc.
Something that can be dropped far
and has the strength of an exterior door.
While your precious is bathed in layers of shock foam.

Not the public roads, just our own driveway :-)

Want me to check for shipping fees, Miden ? xD
(Sorry if it sounded like gloating, that wasn't my intention)

Having toured extensively in Europe in the 90's I have seen my share of cobble-stone roads but I can't remember having to move any equipment on them. As for your driveway. Maybe a 2 wheel cart might be a good idea. I use a for wheel one for my cabinet and amp. If you were to use one for your Kronos I'd certainly want to tie it down with a bungie cord.
