I've had my K61 for two months during which it's worked perfectly and I'm still exploring how to use all it's features.
The only problems I've had were caused by my own errors, (like I've just found that the reason that my MicroKontrol didn't recognise the Kronos pads was that I hadn't plugged in both midi in and out leads - doh!)
And the upgrade was a breeze once I used the right USB stick
Only just getting round to exploring programming in the MOD-7 - infinite possibilities there especially when layering with the synth engines in combi mode.

My Kronos just died last night....and I am pissed about it.
That means no...I am not happy. I just can't use it at all... what a crap!

What happened to it? Is it not powering on, or is it not completing the boot cycle?
I have a suspicion that many of the failures are due to faulty ssds.

Its not powering up at all. When I turn it on, a blue light quickly flashes and then nothing. No fan...completely silent.

I'm not happy with my K88 Keybed...the sound is as great as my Oasys.
I want my keybed replaced...everything else is great.

There's multiple threads going on back to back, with people saying pretty much the same thing over and over. This thread served no purpose at all. Sorry!

Check your RAM... Maybe it´s gone...
But one thing is for sure: Like this, you seem to have fixed the fan issue... No noise anymore at all !

I am happy with the Kronos... But I would be much more happy, if the editor would have been released already...

Kronos is my first Korg keyboard.
I use mostly MOD-7 to create my own sounds.
MOD-7 is fairly easy to program with the current interface.
I also perfer it over AL-1 as VA synth.
I use the SGX-1 to practice piano.
I love the Keys.
I haven't started making music yet, as I keep waiting for the plug-in.
Bought the Kronos late june. I hope the plugin will be good and that it will arrive soon.

I am solidly in the "...love it" category. My Kronos works great and it has a tremendous ability to draw music out of me - challenging me and causing me to grow as a musician. This has been an excellent purchase for me!

I love my Korg 88 Key Kronos. It is the best synth I have owned! I only wish they would update the sequencer like the M3 & also provide the individual track volume meters. Sometimes when i'm working with the sequencer,it's hard to tell which tracks are playing, but if I had the meters like my M3, that wouldn't be an issue. Either way i'm extremely happy!
Thank you Korg!
