I finally decided to make it printed ($25.00) because there are so many references to it in the included manual. Since it's so thick, I divided it in three books: programs and combination -sequencer and global- effects and appendice.

Still hoping though that Korg will offer it online (pdf) in multi languages.

I most certainly agree with a print copy of the PG. I Use my iPod touch to view it if it's something small, but yeah..a paper version would be nice. HOWEVER, I do agree with some of our environmentalists, in that it does use alot of paper. But I do think that that Korg could provide a nice 100 page bullshit-free edition of the Guide. Then, if tiny tiny details are necessary, you could pop in the CD. Yup, that's my view on the issue.

Wait, even better. Korg could provide a paper copy upon request. (even the 100 page version I talked about). That way, people who want one aren't pissed off, and people who don't want/need one aren't wasting paper...and trees in the long run.

They should at least OFFER it. even if they're not including it.

and I think someone said that Korg should hire a musician to write it, with a perfectionist for all the Legalities, and small important stuff..like blah blah blah...Obey copywrite laws...blah blah blah...you could get shocked...blah blah blah you could void your warranty.
A true musician will KNOW what people want, in terms of getting around all the details, and starting with BASICS. People don't need to know how to set quantize levels, or change karma settings, right out of the box. Heck they peobablly don't even know what those are till later. Instead, new users should be presented with material that shows them how to Navigate the modes, and begin playing. Even small stuff like changing between programs and combis. THe small s**t can come later. Sorry about my rant, but the person that started this thread brings up some VERY good points.

Yes. To get the full potential out of this keyboard, you definitely need.

Mike (UKtechsupport) replied a few times, basically saying that Korg Japan was calling the shots. As far as I know, no one from Korg Japan frequents these forums (and since these aren't official Korg forums anyway, they're under no obligation to do so. Just because Korg USA lists these forums on their website doesn't make they the official forums for Korg, since Korg does not maintain them), but since this is a user-started topic on unofficial forums, Korg is under no obligation to give you any reply whatsoever.

No man Korg OWES me, I mean I spent $1000 so that means I'm entitled to the WHOLE company! They all work for ME now.

Anyone have something HELPFUL to say?

You complained that you hadn't gotten an official response. I pointed out that you're not likely to get one from Korg Japan, but that another Korg employee *did* post here. I answered your question as best anyone who actually frequents these forums can. If that's not good enough for you, you're asking the wrong question in the wrong place.

May I politely suggest that when someone is trying to help you, even if just to point out that getting any action from here is a dead avenue, that you save the condescension and rudeness?

My apologies. Your post screamed "Stop complaining and Go away" to me hence the tone of the post.

I see the UK guy stepped in, but I was referring more to Korg USA. Being that Manuals are not of a technical nature (Such as OS updates etc) I figure they might have a little more room policy wise.

Yeah I called them went through a few departments, they called me back saying a paper one doesn't exist. Went a little further and they called back and said "We don't want you to think we forgot about you, we'll call monday", I haven't heard from them since! That was like a month ago.

I'm amazed that this post has had nearly 1000 views - and only 33 people have 'voted'!

I've said it before, & I'll say it again - having to read the parameter guide on the computer SUCKS... you can't even read one page clearly at a time.

Having to scroll backwards & forwards is a complete pain in the a***

Please respond in the affirmative Korg/Jerry/anyone!!!
