I would love to have more than two banks to save user sounds. The reason is that I have upgraded my RAM to 256 Mb and right now am sampling a lot of new sounds, including loops to be used in styles and multipads.
Of course to be able to use those sounds I have to store them in a user location first, but the funny thing is that I have already occupied all of the 256 slots available, yet at the same time still have 64 Mb of RAM to use.
I know that the solution of my problem would be to save separate SETS of sound files (including multipads and styles that use grooves), but then I would have to load them each time I need them, and this is a waste of time and is also especially annoying considering that I am not even using all the RAM available.

Hey Dreamer,

There you go, wasting your money on more RAM when what we really need is an enhancement to the Songbook so that it can be used to select a number of song and performance files to load from disk :-)

Rob,

I had not thought of the Songbook, but I really wish there was a way to use a style or a multipad that use a groove without having to save the sliced multisound to a user location first. Maybe the solution is what you are hinting to: having your style or multipad point to a location on the hard disk instead of a slot in the user bank... :?:

Yep. I think the OS in the Pa2x should be modified to make far better use of the (standard) built in HD. Instead, the OS is a legacy from the Pa800 which had no HD as standard.

My dear-

With another thought it is not so bad…

We will have more time for wishing and suggestions…
[or to demonstrate… ] to change the details of the incredible new features that KORG plan for the OS2, [To be more "incredible"...] with out disappointment that it is finished and we need to wait for a new other OS...

How about adding a key to SELECT and DELETE more then one sample at a time?

HI :P

I think that there will be people that will not understand you correct, and the need of that, because of the-
DELETE option in the pop up menu [That have 3 useful options in it],
It will be good if you will explain it more.
[I think that I understand you because that there was a time that the delete option did not help me and I was need the same idea that you are speaking about, but I do not remember now way, so it will be good if you can explain it. Thanks]..

Hi ..
I wish :
1- they do something with the Cue mode..its only available for fill 1,2 and 3..it will be better if its available for the other style elemnts too..

2-do something with measure in style rec mode..as in korg i 30..we could copy from measure to other..and there was something name Pattren or something like that i dont remember the right name sorry but it was also very good and it make the work in style rec more easy..

3-new samples SPECIALY drum kits...i think they are very bad quality...i never use korg drum kits.. i only use SAMPLE drum kits...i think its not something hard that korg make some new samples with a better qaulity as EX. in M3 . .

at the least i think it would be very helpfull if Korg do something that evryone can put a password on the keyboard that it will lock it so nobody can copy or edit anything from the keyboard...its sooo easy now that people copy things from our keyboard cause saving time or copy to usb is very fast now ..and i think not only me have this problem when i play live ...many of my friends have the same problems that we cant leave our keyboard cause there are some of "MUSICIAN" try to copy our stuff that we have used a lot of time to make it..they can copy it in some SEC ...
best regards
Kardo
