Ellll, you are too hard on yourself. We always love your pieces. And your constant encouragement is very helpful also.

George, I am uneasy at times about subjecting all of you to classical ideas, but I cannot really escape them. It is doubly difficult due to my own thoughts now..However, I gladly accept your comments, and will be a good member..
It is really a good feeling to be back and working with you. I regret that I do have some baggage, and will have to mention it, as it affects my music..I will keep it at a min, and will not say too much...
I have much of the first sketched out now...so here we go...!!!!!!1
My best regards!! John (ellll)

Hi Jaz
Sorry for the confusion but I won’t be joining this one……. starting in Spring I’ll be away from home a lot working.
I think it’s a good thing, being more flexible may temp more to join.

Trev

Kind of you to say, and I must agree it’s very tempting,

.... seeing some of the class of 2005 again brought back memories of that special bond we had.
You’ve done the right thing in joining, there’s some great folk here.

It was Sharp ... in fact it's classic "Sharp thinking", gotta love it.
Anyways I am really excited about this and really thankful to George for being a catalyst extraordinaire !

As long as we're congratulating each other, my hat goes off to Dee, as it was a PM from her to me that set this in motion. I had mentioned a bit ago that it would nice to get this going, but Dee reminded me and then I started the thread. Now, while it's not cheating per se, I have gotten quite a bit done on my first song already, but this is going to be quite an experiment as I'm trying to invent a new music style/genre and I'm not sure if I'm being derivitive, or simply too self indulgent. but i'll get this together by early Feb and post a rough version. That way I can rework the problems a few more times before month end.
Boy this is really got me fired up to compose. And from the chatter here, I believe it's contagious.

Hi Trev, yes I'm up and about and feeling much better. Sorry you won't be able to join us this time around - me and many others here were looking forward to some great songs from you again.
Big thanks to George for getting this started! I felt a bit shy since I had been away for so long, and hadn't contributed to OSAM for 2 years. It was good to hear from John (ellll) and unimon too...very encouraging!
Am also feeling very inspired and have started reworking my very first song from OSAM 2005.
What's this about a NEW MUSICAL GENRE, George??? Can't wait!!

Here I am... I didn't read a lot in the OSAM section in this last period so I missed the new call till George jump up in the forum with the promotion of OSAM 2008-2009. So well I don't think I'll be able to create something complete or anything, but I want to dig up some ideas from my brain that is too lazy due to work and studies... so let's start and be very patient with me this year!
Regards, Lorenzo

Lorenzo one of the reasons I am unwilling to commit to one a month is because of my money- family demands. As long as my equipment works, I am going to get six out one way or another.
You amaze me with all of the things you accomplish (
lawschool, extensive beer drinking, live playing, more beer drinking, girlfriend, one more drink and your website). They won't be looking at you.....they will be looking at me saying
"Jazlover, is that it" ?
It will be fun! I have determined to have fun and learn the craft of writting better. I am viewing this like (when you were a kid) your friends come to your door and say "
Can Jazy come out to play" ? We are going to have fun.
