I vaguely recall 64 Kbps was the norm from 20 years ago

I didn't really judge to be honest just thought it might be of interest, as I own a Fantom already I can listen to its audio quality in person... pity I can't play like Rudess though lol.

I don't know about Canada,
Here in the US, the $500 instant rebate on Kronos expired.
Thus , the 88 is back to $3799, advertised new in US.
It would be interesting if folks are able to make a sharp deal on factory sealed.
Back in the days of covered wagons, that used to be called ' street price'.
I had the opinion, that in order to prepare for new product transition, Korg and its retail channel would be reducing the Kronos price, in order to clean up the channel of inventory.
Consider this, if you bought a new Kronos on 12/16, and Korg announced a Kronos replacement on Jan 16, you might be unhappy, and annoyed enough to return it. And later spend your $3500 on the Kronos replacement.
