Installed OK but they still haven't fixed the problem with EP-1 half damper. I live in hopes.

Seems to be some minor bug fixes. And some new expansion sets.

I'm reading this excited at work, though PLEASE tell me the horns sound better in person than in the demos. I've been hoping not to have to build my own library from ESC and VSTis. So far it sounds pretty "GMish". I'm grateful there's new sounds, but they only matter if they sound good!

One small but ENORMOUSLY important new feature;
"In Live mode, Combination Mute buttons stop the MIDI input to the Timbre; this saves polyphony, and is well-suited to muting and un-muting layered sounds as you play."
This makes handling zones 200% easier. No audio cutoff, no muted patches stealing voices in the background... THANK YOU KORG for implementing this HUGE improvement. Thank you thank you thank you.

No problems for me... From the US, it took me 2 minutes to download file and I have normal download speed capabilities.
Installation was very easy and quick.. Just make sure once you unzip the files, you need to place all the files within the directory that got unzipped to the root of your USB memory stick for the kronos to recognize the install files.
Overall, time to update kronos was ~5 minutes with automatic one reboot, and then one manual hard reboot.
Make sure you backup your sounds before doing any OS update always.. not that you need to... always good to do, just in case.

Yes! This is a VERY important new feature, although I believe it was introduced in 2.1. For so long I could not understand why some notes would randomly play at softer levels in Combi mode compared to Program mode. By altering this new Mute Mode to 'Live' setting, I realized the issue probably had something to do with polyphony note stealing.
