Like McKabe, I use my MicroKORG XL+ for on-the-go controlling.
I have the Triton Taktile 49 at the moment, and it is great for just about everything on the iPad. It also has a native low-power iPad USB mode.
Works nicely with Gadget, great for organ apps (drawbars + expression pedal!), most every control is re-assignable.. and nice built-in sounds for layering with an audio interface and Audiobus.

Well, I must admit... I've had my eye on the Taktile 49 for a while now. But... I won't be able to afford one for a while now so I'll be sticking with the microkorg for the foreseeable future.

I've also had some interest in the Akai MPK Mini. It's possible that I will pick one up in the future.

My only complaint with using the microkorg is that the midi can be sketchy at times with my UNO. I bet a better MIDI I/O would make all the difference.

Thoughts, anyone?
