Hi Guys

Can someone advise me what I am doing wrong?

Have downloaded Anthoneys Steinway Pianos and put on USB. When I go to Media Load the file does not show on the stick. It shows on the Copy page but says 0 files.

What vital ingredient am I missing??

Thanks

Ken

With regard to the Steinway Pianos https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4_6p- ... sp=sharing choose File, Download.
Once you have extracted/unzipped the folder the .Set file that you need might be one level down/inside the new folder. The correct folder will have 3 other files directly inside it (MULTISMP, PCM and SOUND).

Back to the new OS - I'm looking forward to trying out the new sounds.

Thanks for your reply John

Problem seems to be that the file does not download as a Zipped folder so the 'extract all' command is not available, so not possible to access the files.

Ken, I uploaded it as a .rar (winzip) before so here's a normal .zip version which hopefully will work.

Its worth persisting - Its a really nice piano.

John........yes, I listened to your "Your Song"....nice job you did on that and your use of the "Steinway piano." And kudos to Antony for "inventing" them.

I'm not understanding...what do I do with this page?
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B4_6p-M ... RhUVk/edit

Do I need concern myself with the above page if I download the ZIP file you posted here?
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B4_6p-M ... NmX00/edit

Also, why is everyone compressing as RAR files these days and NOT ZIP?

Also, is there a simple RAR "decompressor" program....small size.....not bloated I can use?

Hi Guys

What functionality can we expect with ipad/android integration?

Pa900 just had a new OS release with ipad/android integration added feature but no mention in the upgrade manual.

Thank you and appreciated

Yes, I'm asking the same question - it was odd that nothing was mentioned in the manual.

So Korg, what's it all about?

My guess is there will be an announcement of some apps for the iPad and Android shortly. May already be found at Apple???

Band in A Box type interface?

One thing I have always wanted to see, and what could be possible in an iPad interface is a nice and simple "Band in a Box type" interface for inputting chords in your tune. That is, a page with maybe 4 measures per line where we can type in and edit our chords, select the variation, select a fill, ending etc...

The step / list editor in the PA3x is somewhat difficult to use and visualize where you are at any given time.

A graphic chord mode would be nice to quickly type in your lead sheet.

This could be done on the PA3x itself I assume as well.

Let's hope eh Bill?
I just thought it was odd that NOTHING about it is mentioned, not even a "watch this space" message.

For iPad/Android integration to work, you would need the keyboards to be connected to your network wouldn't you? This would mean adding driver support for WiFi dongles to the USB port. Roland added support like this through the use of WiFi USB dongles with some of their equipment.

We are sorry for the wait, but we did the work on one side (the Pa) first. We'll release more details regarding the other side (the iPad and Android tablets) at a later date.
