Korg Inc. are not offering this competition - so it is NOT a Korg competition. This is a separate company altogether called Korg US who use the korg.com domain name as if it were Korg - which it isn't.
To reiterate, Korg US is a completely separate company merely a distributor - so Korg are most definitely not offering this competition and it is not available world wide. Korg US have essentially nothing to do with the internal running of "Korg Inc" from an innovation and design perspective - they are only a distributor.
Note also this is an international forum - for all users of Korg across the planet - so please try to be a bit more accurate with posts like this - you're probably misleading hundreds of forums users with your post title as it stands.
Thanks,
Kevin.

It's a little more complicated than that. Korg Inc. owns Korg USA. Korg UK as well, I believe. And some of the other distributors if I recall correctly. But not the great majority, especially the smaller ones in more diverse countries.Randelph wrote:So Dan Phillips works for Korg Inc. (Japan), and Rich F. works for Korg USA (distribution/sales)?
But the bottom line people have to understand is that, each distributor in each country decides how best to promote Korg products within that region. Korg Inc. does not make those decisions. And, quite often, a particular idea or promotion done by one distributor doesn't make sense world-wide. Like it or not, that's how it works.

This is the reason they are not allowed to spread messages here or answer on items that can be delicate in commercial consequences (like bugs, unannounced future products, new OS features, dates etc).

Don't forget in the US there is also Korg R&D. I think Dan works there?
Tone fair Korg USA have the largest market segment do I think they have the greatest potential for feedback on products to Korg Inc (Japan) and Korg R&D (USA).

It is a contest open to any U.S. resident. I assume the clues won't be very difficult to determine.apex wrote:why on Earth would you share something like this? lol... the whole point is to win? why lesson your chances?

In the end the content will effectively be a lottery drawing. Since I never win at these things I figure I can help others out. It would be nice if someone here won.
