Well, good luck then. I don't see how to help you, because you don't seem to be able to answer my question about which combi was doing that. Because if I had that info, I could check to see what the issue might be, and then come back to you, possibly with a solution. I appreciate that you are frustrated, but you're not really helping us or yourself here.

As for the reason why your data is being deleted on track 1 when recording on a different track, well that's an easy one. Multi-Record is on. Turn it off. You're probably going to ask where to do that. Right?

Furthermore, the M3 is quite user-friendly to me. I suppose these things depend on the user's previous experience. Of course, my previous new Korg synth prior to the M3 was a Korg Wavestation, and an M1 before that, and those interfaces are nothing like the M3's. I rarely have issues that I am unable to resolve by a) reading the manuals, or b) searching the forums for questions asked and answered.

I am also not Synthoid, but I can't tell if you were merely thanking Synthoid for his earlier posts or simply confusing me with him.

That should be a good place to start.

One thing--if you have created any new programs or combinations--back them up to an external USB device before doing a factory reset.

If you need to contact Korg Tech Support, here is their phone number:
