THere are a few people had some issues compared to the many, and I understand their frustration, since you pay so much money for a keyboard and it either gets delivered damaged or something breaks...
There is a small percentage of people with this problem, most people don't have it. But its the nature of the interwebs to make these problems look much worse then they actually are, because most of the time it are the people with these problems to start browsing the interwebs for solutions and not the people without these problems.
I think that in Greece they will sell old stock first, before selling the newer models. If you want to be absolutely sure i would call the Korg Imprter for greece instead of asking this on the interwebs.
Do you really believe Korg changed the physical design of the RH3 going forward because a small % had the problem? That would make no sense.
Anyone who doesn't have easy access to a service center shouldn't buy a weighted Kronos until it is clear they are getting the new keybed.

Korg probably gives detailed instructions how to perform the replacement.
I was just told today from the Nordic distributor that Korg demands that the distributor performs the replacement...
that sucks - here in the US, I believe any authorized Korg service center can perform the upgrade (repair).

as i can understand the situation with the new deliveries is a little bit confuzed... also i live too far from the capital city (athens). i live on crete. for me the worst scenario is to come the new 88 kronos with the problem and after this to pack and to send again for service...
i think that the best decision for me is to wait until someone from korg to make a formal announce that all the new keyboards are working 100% . i think that many people around the world are in the same situation like me and korg sould make this clear very soon.
Hi Ferma1981
I think the best thing for u will be, just find out all keybad problems here on the forum and go to the store and personaly carefuly cheak all thouse issues.
If awrything will be fine, then i guess nothing to worry, exept if there will be some hidden problems which might come up after some time of playing keybad

I think it is complitely unacsaplable.
If u buy something u do not expect it to bring to the repeir service then.
The product must be fully functional right from the parchase
p.s
I am pretty shure Korg had to change physical design of all new 88 keybads because if they did not then it will strike their reputation extremly strongly.

When you consider just how many Kronos' have been sold and how few people have had problems, I would say go for it and get one. It truly is the best there has ever been. The only problems I've had with my 73 key model is because of me doing stupid things with it. Programming mistakes that I did myself because I did not know what I was doing. Now that I have learnt how to use the Kronos properly, I have no problems at all with it.I never did lose and soundss or programs either. I just misplaced them in the memory. I'm not a computer guy and so I often mess things up because I will try just about anything to see if it does what I want.
Good Luck!

I fully agree to what Bruce says here.
Futhermore: Dont pick up your unit off the shop w/o a full test of the keybed in piano mode.
Some of us tested the new models with the new stick "RH3 from Japan" keybeds, and unfortunately they *MAY HAVE* the same issue than the old one RH3 keybeds in previous models.
