thanks for the comments!
I'm going to choose between four topic areas for my next tutorial, but i can need your help with that. Which topic area do you prefer for the next tutorial?
Topic area 1: KARMA Velocity Templates and CC templates.
This tutorial will explain how those velocity values work for your patterns and more important, how the CC templates work. CC templates can be used for Panning, cutoff patterns and more things. So it's possible to generate a patterns where the cutoff or / and panning changes with each step. That kind of tricks are great if you create a sound where for instance the velocity determines how much the cutoff value is and the CC template determines per step what the panning of that specific note is.
Topic area 2: toggle sounds on / off with KARMA scenes
This tutorial shows how to toggle or combine 4 programs for live purposes at the press of a scene button. So if you play live and start for instance with a piano, then you can press scene 2 and the piano is muted and 2 other sounds can be played. You can do this for each keyboard zone, so in theory you can switch between 16 programs in 1 combi just by pressing karma scenes buttons.
Topic area 3: building a pad sound from scratch in one of the EXI engines.
This tutorial shows the steps needed to create your own pad sound.
Topic area 4: Vector Movements for Motion pads in combi mode.
This tutorial explains how to build a motion pad where each pad has it's own programmed vector movement. For example, the main pad is in timbre 1, this one has an 8 step vector movement pattern that retriggers over time. The second pad has also an 8 step vector pattern but start 4 measure behind pad 1. So when you play, the first pad plays the vector pattern and after 4 measures the second pad with a slow attack starts to add movements to the first sounds. The result is instant ambient movement pads (drone sounds).
