Really strong dual stand... have you used any of these?

Given the amount of weight you'll be putting on the 2d tier, I'd suggest the QuickLok Z or M-92 would be your best option... and both stands have quick and simple height adjustments when switching between sitting and standing set-ups. If your playing involves any amount of lateral motion on the keys, like Hammond style smears or piano sweeps, then go for the Z as the M-92 did have a tendancy to sway side to side when I did any big sweeps or smears on the top tier keyboard.
Kronos 73 Mk1, Roland Fantom 07 and a studio full o'stuff!
+1 on the Jaspers stands, great quality, but I'm using this one instead (in black rather than silver):michelkeijzers wrote:Did you consider an A stand?

This is the KSV3-XL but I'm using it with only two tiers holding a Korg CX-3 on the bottom and a Roland Fantom X7 on the second tier. These stands are incredibly lightweight (being made of aluminum) but very strong and stiff. No more bouncing of keyboards when I start pounding those notes. With my previous steel X-stands from QuickLok my stands would swing sideways and front to back, especially when playing high or low notes with force.
The XL version of these stands came about partly by my own repeated pleading. If you're not as tall as I am (1.90m) the reguarl KSV-3 or KSV-2 might be a better match.[/img]

The best stand I have ever had is the one I have now. SOLIDSTAND. It's pricey because of the built in hydraulic lift, but it is a ROCK!! I've used just about every brand of x-brace, A-frame, and single column stands. It will easily raise/lower two heavy keyboards. Making it easy to stand for some tunes and sit for others. I only take off the bottom legs for moving. So it sets up in about 5 minutes.
