Example of a Miles Davis style trumpet played against a backing track. This is a tough sound to find. You should be able to hear the legato as well.

Actually what I'd like to hear is a Boots Randolph Saxaphone!

Hi folks,
I'm trying to plug a BC3 breath controller into my new korg kronos via Midi Solutions Breath Controller processor, with no results at all. Can someone please guide me to make it work?
Thank you so much,
Alex

ps: I noticed that it all works well pluggin MSBC to any vst instrument on my mac, controlling the volume (CC07) or expression (CC11). But still it doesn't work with kronos. And there's more: I tried pluggin the BC3 to my Yamaha DX7, connected via midi to the Kronos. It seemed to send CC02 (breath controller value), after that I tried other connections and returning to the BC3->DX7->Kronos chain with the same kronos program it didn't work anymore O_o I'm sure that IN-OUT midi chain was absolutely correct!

Those clips are both really gorgeous simulations. I would not have guessed either was fake, honestly.

So, I'm curious...these BCs are turning it into midi events...CCs, I would assume?

What synth parameters to do you address with them? I would assume expression...and somehow the attack envelope? Anything else?

Strange things happen! For a while it worked (using cc07 volume) but soon, for no apparent reason stopped to work. Even while working sometimes slightest errors came out, like sounds shifted a tone down or sound booms. Please help me, I don't know how to cope this dreadful thing! O_O

Problem solved! It was a stupid misworking cable, swapping the two cables all works perfectly! Anyway I'm gonna buy a new one, of course! Sorry for bothering you for almost nothing... Good music to ya all
