Also, if you plan on making music on a computer, the sounds on the keyboard are less important because you can use virtual instuments on the computer. For my studio work, I use my keyboards (including the M50) for triggering midi notes only. All sounds are generated by VSTi.

I have M50 but reading your post I suggest you buy M3 .I tried both same sound but I did not need sampler or karma ,i have zoom multitrack for audio better than any synth whith audio tracks and cheaper package .Juno is good but old model compared to M50

Hey thanks leone.
nopes the M3 is above my budget for now.
I guess the M50 will be a pretty good board for me for the time being.
next thing im breaking my head with are the Digital audio interface and the monitor speakers...

Why the M50 then??? For half of the money that he would pay for M50 he can
buy just a MIDI controller which will leave the M50 back to when Jesus was
walking the earth era, or earlier.

Hi
I ordered the M50 today after going through the same deliberation. I went with it because of better feel, better sounds and overall reliability. I would've liked the expansion of the Juno G and the recording inputs, but honestly I can do all that on my computer! I wil use the M50 in VST mode likely along with my sequencer on my computer when I want to record other instruments. I've heard too many bad things about the Juno G LCD failing/ piano sounds sucking and keyboard feel being terrible.

All the best!
It sure is a WISE choice! I feel terrible to realise i was so dumb to compare recording features on the Juno against the M50!!
