How the hell would you redo the Kits? You cant remembet everything which
Kit what it had inside, unless you go back to 1.60 and take a month of off work
to write down each sample for each Kit.
For now i am staying 1.60, i already took 2.0 out, wont test it anymore,
this was enough, no need for more testing.

Rob, try the last 4 and 1/2 years!! I was asking for that stuff when the PA1xpro was a pup!!

Robkeith,

I'm overall impressed with the update, it is far better than the upgrade of the tyros 3 from the tyros 2 and it is for free.

Look at the end of the day it comes back to your personal requirements.

You can always switch to casio keyboards they manage to always keep thier customers happy

nikola81 wrote:I can confirm problem on pa800, i installed 2.0 and 1.60 three times one after another and resaved my set also that much and it's not working as it should. Everything else is great but 99% of my playing is based on user DK so this is a problem. For now only solution is to redo around 15 DK note by note or (since i don't have time) to go back to 1.60.
OH OH I will have that problem to. I use almost 20 or more user DK with factory samples.

Gladly I backup all the resources and OS before.

Mauro

The changes to the Styles are stunning and I like the way Korg has remapped the styles. The new Blues Ballad is awesome. The board seems to be more inspiring to me.
Congratulations to Korg for a job well done! You've done a great Job.

Thank you, Thank You, Thank You to the programmers, sound engineers, the testers, and the entire Korg Team. This update is very much appreciated!
Just a terrific job.

Al, I'm with you. Although I didn't get a lot of time to play with the OS last night, so far so good I'm very happy with the upgrade Thank you Korg!! 8)

YEP! Some good addition's to an allready good keyboard. I was happy with it before so am even happier now. I am a realist and I sympathise with people who just want to turn it on and play and also with those who want to delve a little deeper. I try to do a little of both and will do so as I learn more about this keyboard

My apologies for being 'positive' as I'm seeing an awful lot of negativity around here.

Thank you Korg. At least you do try to give genuine updates and not just Bug fix's as the 'Other' Manufacturers do.....And for 'Free'
:o

Morning folks:

There's simple ways to handle things.

When there is a problem you post it in a new thread with a clear, informative title. No alarmist reactions, no emotion, clear hard facts. Then we can understand and follow up. Korg Italy has already done a bunch of testing, so has Germany and we haven't found the problem. Yet. So we are speaking privately to Nedim and Nikolai etc. to get their data and look into it further. We're on it!

I see nothing wrong with other users who don't use the product in the same way to be able to start threads and discuss other aspects of a product/OS without being told they can't because there is one problem. There's no reason to interject that same problem into every other thread, or not allow others to share their discoveries, joy, appreciation. We won't only look at the positives and bury the negatives, don't worry about that.

So we're working diligently to find out the cause of the User Drumkit with ROM sample problems some of you are experiencing. Let's leave that subject in its own thread - that's easier to follow if its in one place.

OK?

Regards,

Jerry

Good morning, Jerry,

Thank you for your message about this. For my own part I will try to do as you suggest.

The previous emotions and sometimes anger arose when there were significant difficulties and we were left to cope on our own and nobody cared. I don't know if it was the chicken or the egg that came first.

Now you are here, we know it was the chicken.

Regards,
Rob

Jerry,
Thanks for the frank, informative update...and your suggestions to how to handle all this. Like Rob, I will try as well to follow your recomendations as I agree it is a good approach.

I'm confident Korg will solve all these issue's. Please let us know how we can help.

There is a lot of pretty sharp people here, so if there is any specific testing or other help needed...let us know.
Thanks,

Lee

Jerry thanks for taking the time and effort to visit this part of the Korg forum more regularly.

I guess the frustration still "hangs" here because all of the absence the last years.

It is good to see that Korg indeed was listening on some parts (style cue and midi/style).

We will try to keep it formal.

I saved all individual DK and installed everything and it's working fine. Now trying to check out the new features :)

OH MY GOD !!!

Finger bass DNC is great, but I cannot ... just CANNOT believe the true brilliance of the different Guitar DNC !!!

You have to learn to play again, but what a functions !!!!!!!!!!

The actual slide of the guitar and the toggle (hitting on the guitar with the palm of your hand) is just brilliant.

I have no words for this ....

 :D
